Any advice, links to relevant tutorials, etc, would be very helpful to me in fixing the eyes. I've also dabbled (mostly unsuccessfully) with meshing, but I have never touched default replacement eyes before and am not sure where to start with updating/fixing this particular item. I make CC tattoos, I've made custom wall hangings, hair recolours, and some simple clothing recolours. I'm just looking for a personal solution to my problem, that's all. Also, no disrespect towards the creator for not updating I know first-hand it can be hard to keep up with your content. I just want to fix them for my own personal use in my game. I don't plan to reupload or redistribute my fixed version without her permission. I have tried to tell the creator about the problem, but people have been telling her this since June with no response from her, so I figure I will just fix them myself. I know this is a common issue with default replacement eyes and they need a fix. The default eyes are supposed to be for all ages, which is how I know this is a glitch and not an intended aspect of the eyes. The eye colour can't be changed in CAS because no eye colour swatches show up in the eye category, even in fulleditmode. Every baby in the game, whether adopted or biologically related to their parents, are aging up into toddlers/kids with the same brown Maxis eyes.
I use some default replacement eyes by another creator that I absolutely adore and am not willing to part with, but they are in need of a fix. I've made a lot of progress in the world of CC but I'm still learning. Hi there, sorry for all the questions lately.
